Working on a Saturday night.

Oh how my life is exciting sometimes!!! Since I went out Thursday night and I had all this work (and not a lot of cash) I was like I think I should get some freelance work done on the weekend. I figure whilst I have a laptop I should get it all done and out of the way so I can start to enjoy myself on weekends and actually you know have like days off. I cant remember the last actual day off I had where I didnt have either work to go to or freelance work to do or both. Sometimes I really think I work too much.

Anyhoo, I got home last night after an after work bevvie with Teh Work crew at the Clerkie (OMG They have pool tables!!!!) and cooked some dinner and then watched the Big Brother Eviction. Im so glad they evicted Ahmed he is like a total d&*khead, although his antics did make for oh-so-bad reality teev (Which really is the best kind). I ended up falling asleep at 9om. I got up when Dave and Liz got home and watched a movie until it was late enough to call the parentals at a decent time in Perth.

Have felt shattered most of today for some reason so I have been asleep most of the day. Subsequently procrastinated for a good part of the evening watching movies and cleaning my room. Just working up to doing some work. Going to get going on it all now....

Manda*does*Excited.

Im excited because its Thursday and that means its Friday tomorrow. Im also excited because Im going out for a drink and a meal tonight :D

I found a computer to do my work on until the Insurance decides what the hell they are doing about my stolen laptop which sorts out my freelance problem and I also managed to recover my mp3s from my pod. Chufty Badge!

To top it all off I found £30 on the way home yesterday, I did do the honest thing and tried to see if there was anyone around who had dropped it but there wasnt so I figured I was just lucky :D and had some karma owing.

Things are indeed looking up.

Thieving Bastards

Someone was nice enough to break into our house yesterday and steal my 12" Powerbook. They also stole numerous other stuff from our house and went through our things. Hopefully my insurance should cover it but not sure yet.

I have lost most of my travel photos, 4 years worth of journals and a lot of my recent work. Im totally gutted.

The day after the night before

Omg we had a massive work party last night at this flash place called Home House with all our staff (about 50 of us) and our clients. There was free alcohol. Those 4 words always lead to trouble. As I was Teh Official Photographer™ of the evening my strategy was to have a drink, do a round of the room and take photos, have another drink, take more photos. However as the evening went on it just turned into keep drinking and fit in the odd photo. I had 3 champagnes but they were like you have to drink wine now and that is where it officially went pear-shaped. I felt reasonably sober until I started drinking the wine and then it was like omg Im totally sh*tfaced. I couldn't even remember the last hour or so of the party. Until everyone comes up and starts asking me do you remember when you did that. Luckily most people were also completely shitfaced so its more just a series of hazy memories.

The worst thing though this morning and realised I had taken a cab and it cost me like £15 I cant remember paying the cab driver but thats what was gone from my purse so I must have :S Not to mention both my jacket and my camera were nowhere to be found. I put the jacket and my bag in the cloakroom but only taken my bag out but the camera I couldn't remember what I had done with it. Luckily I called the place and they had found it. I was chuffed.

Played netball on Monday night and Im still soooo sore from it, although that could be partly from last nights hijinx.

Im so never drinking again. Until perhaps Friday night!!

I decided that since people can choose to go to this website but can't choose whether I spam them, I should stop spamming them and start using Teh Blogger™ instead.
