Not so good intentions
I forgot! I meant to post on Wednesday and Thursday but I honestly can't remember what I was going to post about.
Well the Little Man Tate gig at the 100 Club was pretty excellent. Three bands for £7 - not bad! Can't remember the first band - the only thing I can remember was they were a bit on the average side but entertaining none the less. The second band, called Pint Shot Riot were great to watch and had some catchy numbers.. really tight set from those lads and Im sure we will be hearing from them soon in the media. By the time they finished the place was crammed and we vacated our seats for a place in the (mainly young) crowd. Up front, there was a large section of devotees that knew all the words and proceeded to mosh to their hearts content (as well as crowdsurf their mates onto the stage). As for the band, they were pretty damn good. Despite some dubious songs (that girl isn't my girlfriend "about waking up next to an ugly bird") you couldn't help but smile and jump along. Not to mention, the lead singer has a grin so infectious that teenage girls couldn't help but fall in love with. Maybe this is a band I will be able to say "I saw them before they were famous!". Not to mention that the 100 Club is in the Top 10 of Live Music Venues in my Top 10 London
book.
I've also been watching far too much telly, end of Lost Season 2, end of 24 Season 5 (OMG!OMG! Cant wait for Season 6 already) and Big Brother. Im really hoping that Pete wins but as for the other people.. not really fond on many of them but suprisingly Nikki has been quite entertaining to watch. I really didn't like her at the start after her precious and precocious outbursts over bottle water and eye make-up remover but now its just become funny to watch her and her hysterics. Im pretty sure that Grace hooking up with Mikey and then pursuing George is going to get her evicted quick smart. Anyways speaking of, food is almost ready and the show is almost about to start..
