Foo Fighters review

I went to this on Saturday.. Here is my short review..

Juliette Lewis & the Licks(?) = music was good, dont like her voice though.
Angels & Airwaves (Lead singer of Blink 182's new band) = when you are on that early in the day, dont try to get a political response/sing along going with a largely sober and apathetic London crowd...
Queens of the Stone Age = so excellent its just not funny and the lead singer is hot!!
Motorhead = not my thing but they were fun.
Foo Fighters = They only played for 1 hour and 15 minutes.. for £40 I expected a little more foo-eys for my money. They played a drum solo for about 15 minutes of that too which really gets on my nerves. Id so much rather hear a couple more songs than that. They brought the guys out from Queen in the encore which was cool. Honestly, I was a little disappointed. It seemed like they thought selling 85,000 tickets gave them the right to indulge in wankery a bit.

The last time I saw them, they played the tightest, greatest hits package with a bit of funny Dave Grohl included.. all in an hour (at the Big Day Out Perth 2003) and I walked away feeling chuffed. This time, I felt a little disappointed.

Not much happening at the moment but working and trying not to get nervous about starting my new job. Hopefully the weather will be good on the weekend but Im so skint!!!

Oh - if you have any Norway tips (specifically Oslo) please feel free to comment :)
